Network Engineer

• Participate in a working group responsible for the deployment and development of the broadcast infrastructure, sharing knowledge with the rest of the team and reporting issues to management when necessary.
• Configure and maintain the switches, routers and firewalls that are part of the infrastructure.
• Ensure services and systems are always available and reliable and inform immediately if something is not going as expected.
• Implement Cyber-security measures such as firewall rules, servers and infrastructure updates, intrusion detection policy management, Network Access Control.

System/Network Engineer

• Hands on experience in configuring Cisco Catalyst 2960 series switches and Cisco 2600, 2800, 2900, and ISR-1002 series router.
• Hands on experience in configuring HPE Networks 7514, A5120 y A5130 series switches.
• Hands on experience in configuring Aruba networks 7220 series Wireless LAN Controllers, Mobility Master and 5214r, and 2930 series switches.
• Design and configuring of OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP on Cisco Routers.
• Experience manually testing, configuring and troubleshooting OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VLAN's, VPC, Trunking, VTP, STP, PVST, RSTP, MSTP, HSRP, VRRP, 802.1q, and Ether-channels
• Experience securing and managing remote access using various VPN technologies like IPSec, SSL, and GRE.
• Working knowledge of network monitoring/management tools like Wireshark, HPE iMC, Aruba Airwave, Net Flow.

• Responsible for all routing, switching, VPN, network security, Virtual Port Channels (vPCs) and server load balancing.
• Proficient level knowledge in troubleshooting Network Connectivity issues in Local Area Networks (LAN) using Packet Capturing Methods (Wire Shark).
• Proficient troubleshooting and technical support abilities with migrations and network connectivity.
• Work on Web based protocols FTP, HTTP, TFTP, RTP, SSH.
• Troubleshooting network performance issues, end user connectivity and working closely with technology suppliers and ISP carriers.
• Monitoring Tools: Wireshark, Aruba Airwave, HPE iMC, FTP and TFTP Servers, Royal TS, XShell and Teraterm.
• Configure ISC-DHCP and KEA-DHCP servers on campus network.
• Configure Radius Server on campus network to connect eduroam.
• Install, configure and manage linux RedHat servers.
• Managed Microsoft 365 tenant with over 15,000 accounts and implemented security best practices for the environment.
• Created and maintained a comprehensive list of all Microsoft 365 tenants, including email addresses, domains, and administrators
